PWP Steering Committee:
The Committee Is Chaired By The Minister Of Planning And International Cooperation (Mopic) And Is Composed Of A Number Of Ministers And Deputy Ministers With Relation To The Pwp Fields And Activities In Addition To A Number Of Personalities Representing Ngos And Civil Society.
Main Functions of the Steering committee:
- Approval of the allocations distribution criteria
- Approval of the project acceptance criteria and evaluation mechanism
- Periodical approval of lists of the proposed projects for implementation
- Approval of contracts over USD 200 thousand
- Approval of the quarterly and yearly budgets and the auditor›s reports
- Periodical review and performance evaluation of the PWP management unit activities

PWP Management Unit:
Project Management Unit (PMU)
The PWP Management Unit is composed of limited number of specialized Key staff and support staff, distributed between the Head Office in Sanaa and its branches in ten governorates.
PMU Main Functions
- Manage all activities of the Project administratively and financially
- Preparation, Coordination, supervision and monitoring implementation of all projects nationwide, in accordance with procedures and regulations approved by the Steering Committee .
- Ensure achieving PWP development objectives efficiently, in a cost effective and sustainable manner.
- Ensuring sustainability of the interventions.
