Last February 2011‭, ‬the World Bank expert‭, ‬Mr‭. ‬Mario Antonio Zelaya‭,  ‬paid a two-day visit to a number of PWP implemented projects in the sectors of health‭, ‬education‭, ‬and stone pavement in Sana’a City and the governorates of Sana’a‭  ‬and Amran‭.‬

During the visit‭, ‬the expert listened to Area‭ (‬2‭) ‬manager‭, ‬Eng‭. ‬Hassen Al-Hubaishi‭; ‬the Water and Environment Specialist‭, ‬Eng‭. ‬Abdelwali Al-Shami‭; ‬and Eng‭. ‬Mohammed Al-Emadi‭, ‬the Area Branch Manager who gave a full description‭  ‬of the nature of the implemented projects‭ , ‬the number of beneficiaries‭, ‬the job opportunities provided‭, ‬and the positive impact of such projects‭.‬

He also listened to the beneficiaries‭  ‬explaining‭  ‬the difference that PWP interventions have made to their life and the great extent of benefit they gained from these projects‭.‬

At the end of‭  ‬the visit‭, ‬the expert‭, ‬Mr Zelaya‭, ‬expressed his great satisfaction with the significant‭  ‬role PWP played in improving the living conditions and in alleviating the suffering of the remote and poor communities through its interventions in projects implementation‭.‬
