The Public Works Project (PWP) has accomplished the goals for 2017 as agreed with the World Bank and UNDP at the start of the Yemen Emergency Crises Response Project (YECRP).

According to the Follow-up and Evaluation Team, a third party chosen by UNDP, the goals have been achieved in an efficient, transparent and quality manner.

According to indicators, PWP signed 1014 subprojects contracts during 2017 worth US$ 74,6 million, including 318 subprojects that have been completed at a cost of US$ 16,2 million and 224 subprojects are undergoing contractual processing with an estimated cost of US$ 14,6 million. These are expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2018.
