The PWP has succeeded in implementing sub-projects closely linked to peoples’ daily lives, such as water, rehabilitation of schools, sanitation, and protection of agricultural land.

All projects being implemented are labor-intensive aiming at generating work opportunities for skilled and unskilled labor, especially important under the current situation. The sub-projects serve the objectives of the YECRP - a program funded by the World Bank and administered by the UNDP.
According to indicators, by the end of Septamber 2018, contracts for 1,074 sub-projects have been signed under all available funding to the PWP, at an estimated cost exceeding US$66 million.
