PWP launched last Saturday a training session on public participation using PRA at its headquarters in Sana’a. 50 female social workers and researchers representing various governorates of the country are participating in this training.

For a full week, participants will be trained by PWP’s gender coordinator, Shafiqah al-Rujami and Dr Ali Ahmed Makheesh, on concepts of community participation, especially women engagement, and how to make their voices heard by decision-makers. They will also be trained on methods of assessments in general, and impact assessment, in particular, of implemented projects in the communities.
