Despite all the challenges created by the current situation, PWP has proven that it is truly at the service of development.

As a reputable national institution, the PWP has been trusted by the World Bank who found the PWP to be a successful partner, and according to the UN, PWP has the capacity to absorb finances aimed at contributing to the alleviation of the critical humanitarian situation in Yemen.

In fact, the PWP has performed up to the marks, won all odds and merited top honors, overcoming the difficult situation faced by the country. It has continued the development efforts and the delivery of important infrastructure projects through the country, with no exceptions.


Achievements in the ground have shown that PWP has been championed the cause of the poor, destitute households and the most adversely affected groups from the current situation in Yemen, especially children and women. Thus, all implemented project aimed primarily at realizing means to achieve a life of dignity for target communities, which are experience living conditions on the verge of collapse.

PWP has succeeded in creating short-term work opportunities, provided selected essential service to the most vulnerable groups in society and the most impoverished - those who have been hard-hit by the current situation - as well as improving the food security situation in the country.
