PWP has been working to create short-term work opportunities to help them live a life of dignity and stability.

It has succeeded in achieving this objective by implementing projects in sectors such as water, agriculture, education, roads and streets paving, and improvements. To implement these projects, PWP has utilized funding under the Emergency Response Program, financed by the World Bank in partnership with UNDP, or programs funded by other donors, such as the Islamic Development Bank or UNOPS.

by the end of September 2020, projects implemented under all these finances have generated 3million short-term work opportunities.
