Enabling youth engagement in development is a priority for PWP.

This stems from PWP’s awareness of the importance of youth capacities in advancing and developing the community; given that youth constitute the biggest population stratum. PWP’s Project Management Unit, therefore, is giving priority to youth when implementing projects.

It’s also keen to provide sustainable work opportunities for the young generation, especially in agricultural projects.

PWP is also keen to see youth gain needed skills that will improve their employability in the labor market. In the community contracting experience, PWP prioritizes youth employment and participation in community contracts, making them the cornerstone of this experience.
