The UNESCO team that is currently visiting Yemen headed by the UNESCO Regional Director for Yemen and the Gulf, Anna Paolini, was briefed today on the project to restore and rehabilitate some houses and Al ful Square in Crater in Aden, implemented by the PWP in partnership with UNESCO and funded by the European Union.
During the visit, the UNESCO Regional Director Anna Paolini and the UNESCO Project Director in Yemen, Boyana Zivukovic, heard from the Director of the PWP Sub-Area manager, Mohsen Alawi, and the technical team of the project, a detailed explanation of the project components, the level of implementation and the importance of the project in preserving the historical heritage of the Crater Houses.
The UNESCO team had held a meeting today at the office of the PWP in Aden to discuss the level of implementation of the project to restore and rehabilitate some houses and Al-Ful Square in Crater and the difficulties facing the project.
