The Public Works Project has completed the restoration of 15 home in the Old City of Sana’a under the cash for work program for youth in urban areas of Yemen.

PWP is implemented the project in partnership with UNESCO with funding from the European Union in the Old City of Sana’a, Shibam-Hadramout, and the two cities of Aden and Zabid.
During the handover of the restored homes, one of the beneficiaries confirmed that the rehabilitation of homes in the old city has saved the residents from threats of displacement or death.
