In light of a shortage of job opportunities and sources of income, improving the standard of living through providing a source of income is a priority held by the majority of Yemenis, particularly the displaced and poorest groups.

The PWP, through the Social Protection Project (#ESPECRP), funded by the World Bank's IDA in collaboration with the UNDP, has saved approximately 200 working days, which has contributed to reviving the spirit of hope among local communities, the displaced, and the poorest groups, and has left feelings of satisfaction among the target community, as these are projects that touched the necessities of daily life and reached all regions of Yemen without exception.
