UNESCO Office in the Gulf and Yemen commends the partnership with the Public Works Project

The UNESCO Office in the Gulf state & Yemen stressed the importance of partnership with the PWP during the coming period in implementing the coming phase of the #cash_for_work project to improve livelihood opportunities for the youth of the historical cities in Yemen.

The UNESCO delegation, which visited today the PWP in Sana'a, headed by Mr. Salah Khaled, Director of the UNESCO Office in the Gulf state & Yemen, and the Mr. Rasool Samadov, Dr. Faridah Abodan, Mohammed Al-Jabri, and Eng. Nabil Munasar presented the plan of UNESCO for the coming period.

The Director of the PWP, Eng. Saeed Abdo Ahmed, gave an explanation of the PWP's preparations to implement the next phase of the #cash_for_work project to improve livelihood opportunities for the youth of the historical cities in Yemen.

The Director of the PWP praised the role of UNESCO in supporting the cultural heritage sector in Yemen.
